I was about to leave Ashhurst yesterday afternoon when this Magpie decided to wander over and pose for me. I think BW helps bring out the texture on the feathers, more so than in colour. Especially with these guys
Relaxing at the park, this duck I think, thought my leg made a great perch.
When I first started out, the one photographer who inspired me the most, was and still is, National Geographic photographer, Jason Edwards. Apart from the great work he does, I always remember the advice he gave, on one of his shows. As much as possible, get it right in the camera, don’t over process your images and don’t spend too much time processing them. (not exactly word for word, its been a while). I have to say, I am hooked on barbed wire, it has a lot of character and can help create some stunning photos, especially on a frosty morning. Click on Hooked on Barbed Wire to view more photos.
