Herbertville is a special place, there is always something new to see, with its stunning scenery, dunes, hills and long sandy beach. It is a little bit of paradise, tucked away in the Tararua District. The high tide and river, created this amazing scene.

I decided to go for a drive the other day, with no particular destination in mind. I stopped on the road above the gorge and took these photos.
We have had a few stunning sunsets over the last couple of weeks. The clouds really add some character to them.
I love the way the colours and light meld into each other and the way the clouds float around the wind turbines.

I saw these dogs at the beach, they were waiting for the waves to come in then, they would run and chase them. Fun was the name of the game.
