Lake Wairarapa is situated in the southern part of the North Island, New Zealand. It is home to many species of birds. Many more stop for a visit, on their way to somewhere else. If you get up early enough, amazing sunrises can be seen.
I love the way the colours and light meld into each other and the way the clouds float around the wind turbines.
